*** UPDATE - Right out of the box (iPhone X and this charging pad) charged very slowly to full charge so I felt it was a waste of buying it. After trying to charge my iPhone X with the cable that came with it, I found that the cable lasted even longer than the charging pad. So this charging pad is faster BUT when your phone's battery is low (marked in red) it takes several hours to fully charge (which is obviously what Apple users expect from the iPhone X. Ugh). If your phone's battery is now 50% or more charged, the tablet will charge it very quickly. What I don't like about a tablet is that you can't use your phone while it's sitting and charging. What I like about the charging pad is that it's faster than the cable that comes with the phone. It does take longer to charge the iPhone X when I use the cable, but at least I can use the phone while it's charging. After spending several days using each charging method, I decided to keep this charging pad and while it's cool to have, I'm not thrilled with it (but I don't want to return it either). I see it more as an expensive toy that's cool but not essential. I even took off my thin see-through OtterBox Symmetry case because fast charging was rusting it (and it hurts to take it off and put it back on). Followed very small printing instructions. If I had just charged my iPhone the normal way, I could use my phone WHILE CHARGING! That's a bust. I hope it can be returned with no penalty for a failed attempt.
