Basically they work.
Each hinge has two sides that need to be locked after crimping, but I've found that the side of the metal that should already be locked needs extra crimping because it falls out quite easily. They're good for holding adapters together, but aren't great for end-to-end security. can be pulled out by simply twisting the attached adapters.
