Great, files transfer quickly

Let me start by saying that I have a gaming PC that I built myself. Some standard PCs can be a bit more difficult to use. Also, the ports may not match properly. But for my Corsair 220t case this extension fits perfectly. I'm using Windows 10 Pro on an msi motherboard and haven't had to change any settings or install drivers. You may need to enable the PCIe slot in BIOS if it doesn't connect for you. Transfer rates to external hard drives are fast, faster than some ports on my motherboard. I did not expect this. In general, the map is simple and works well. If you want to charge devices through these ports, I would go for the powered version. This one is still charging, but it seems like it's only 5 watts, maybe 10.

Pros
  • Pleasant to use
Cons
  • Makes me angry
