I can't knock these too badly because in fairness to the listing, they don't specify that they are extruded and not cast acrylic.That being said, these are not a good choice for laser engraving, as the extruded acrylic does not cut or engrave nearly the same way. Extruded acrylic tends to melt off instead of sublimate away, and cut/engraved areas maintain a shiny appearance rather than the frosty look we laser cutters are looking for.The plastic backing comes off nice and smoothly, like peeling the backing off of a glass screen protector for your phone. No residue is left. Surfaces are smooth and shiny.These would be great for non-laser crafts like painting or drilling for ornaments.
