I was looking for a way to mount a towel warmer in the bathroom and found this to be the perfect solution. I was able to run it through all the drywall where the drywall anchors had come loose and it fixed it perfectly and I don't see it moving anymore.

Tuggle, the part that opens behind the wall is quite large when you close it. That means you have to drill a hole of that size. Well, the head of the screw is smaller than the hole you just drilled. So the screw is dangling in the huge hole that is now in your wall. boo

These are low quality Chinese steel base screws. My problem is the packaging, although three places told me the sizes of the anchors but I was not told what size drill bit to use to set each of the three sizes. It's not hard to understand, but come on, it's not hard to include in the kit either.

So far it's not working very well. You first have to drill a fairly large hole in the wall to get the bolt through and then the screw was too short for me to open the mechanism. So I had to patch the hole and drill next to it to put in a different type of screw. I will not buy again. And if I could, I would send it back.

This is a very good find for home drywall projects that cannot use studs but still need to attach shelves etc. I used it in the bathroom to attach two tier shelves that look and feel like rock. Later used for a few more projects like installing new wall and ceiling lights, various towel dryers, etc. with no problems.

I bought it and did not use it. I'm sure they're just great, but I'm lucky enough to be able to use the long screws at an angle and reach the studs. Mounting on wall studs is always the best option, especially when hanging heavy items like the microwave I installed. If getting to the studs was impossible, surely 4 or 6 of them would be good for the task.

Our towel rail fell off the wall on one side when pulling out two drywall anchors. I was afraid it would be difficult to fix, but this made it a no-brainer! The smallest pry bolt was perfect for the hole left by the drywall anchor. The screw is a little tricky to tighten as you have to pull to keep the bolt from turning, but it is very secure! Would definitely use this product again.

My husband is so happy he found her. Our towel warmer kept failing because there were no rivets where it was installed. He fixed it 3 or 4 times with other types of anchors and was frustrated each time he fell and took the drywall with him. So far they have lasted over a month. The towel rail is still up and there is no movement in it. He used it last night to reattach a curtain rod that had come loose years ago.

I like this concept, it should hold up much better. But in reality you have to drill a huge hole in the wall, much bigger than the screw itself. Well, if what you're putting in is even visible behind it. You see a big hole. And even if not. You still have a huge hole. Then the twisting process is terrible. You have to somehow pull it against the wall and turn it, screwing doesn't help. So you can't make it as tight as you'd like and as others have said it ends up in a shaky mess. It was a good…

To be honest I haven't used this product because I don't know how. So I have to try for a while to find a cure or find someone who can help show me how to use it. I really thought this product would come with instructions on how to stick it in the wall. I don't understand why so many products now come with poorly written instructions and poorly illustrated diagrams or no instructions at all. Too many of us here who need to learn how to do it.
