This key does exactly what I need, and it is plug and play. The only 2 issues I had with it was that it gets a little warm and I use it all day so I don't know if it wears out quicker and that's my fault. I tried to connect 4 monitors now that I have enough ports. But it wouldn't allow me to drive a fourth monitor. I thought it was a key issue, but after doing some research I found that my laptop isn't powerful enough to run a 4th monitor. You should check this before purchasing if trying to control more than 3 monitors. Specially designed for gaming or Ultra High Definition such as 4k and higher.
