Review on Amarine Made 1/2 Inch 50 FT Double Braid Nylon Dockline Dock Line Mooring Rope Double Braided Dock Line by Ronald Wheeler

I bought this 50ft 1/2" rope to keep my pickup truck from getting stuck - I sometimes launch a small boat off the muddy shore small ponds and the wheels of the trailer sink into the dirt. Then the tires spin as I pull the trailer out. I usually have a tree close enough to gain a foothold and a come-along in my toolbox. I've done this before - just use Come-Along to put a lot of force on the rope - it will stretch a lot. Don't stretch it too much or tear it - just make a big elastic band. With a few hundred pounds pulling the rope, the truck extends and the "rubber band effect" keeps it moving several feet. This works surprisingly well if you can find an anchor point, like a tree, close enough. safe working load 960 lbs, i know i can use this rope to unlock my truck. I don't really need a pre-made loop on one end, but this was a decent quality inexpensive rope I was able to find.
