I have 6-8 of these scarves and wear them all the time. They are very soft and long enough to wrap around your neck, shoulders or head depending on which part of your body is cold. I wear them at home and outside. It's winter MN outside, it's very cold outside. Some of these scarves wash better than others, but in general they are all washable. We also use them to wrap our little 6 lb dog when she rides in the winter and her jacket isn't enough. I also gave them to every family member and everyone wears them, including the children.
