Review on ThermoPro Wireless Digital Cooking Thermometer by Stephanie Powells

So in short, this is a fantastic thing. There is a learning curve, but nothing difficult to master. However, based on TP-07, this is what you need. Now the learning curve. You have to press a few buttons to set the temperature you want to set for each sensor. The lack of pre-programmed timings is also disappointing, but not enough to deduct a star. Once you learn the programming sequence, you'll find it's as easy as riding a bike. I smoked it twice and on my second smoke I didn't have to consult the instructions (man kryptonite). The sensors had a temperature of +/- 1.5 degrees. Which is acceptable to me. I think some changes beyond that include quick access to each probe so you can easily program the timings you want. Adding preloaded timings and being able to customize them from there would make it even more user friendly. It would be great to add the ability to turn off the alarm from the receiver on both the receiver and the transmitter. While smoking, I could still hear the main unit's temperature alarm even though I turned off the alarm on the receiver. Last but not least, perhaps the only issue with this device is that it has that touch area that you would naturally grab onto it. I can't count with hands and feet the number of times I put him in there, turning the light on and off the whole time. I'm pretty sure this will drain the batteries a lot sooner than it should. I think it will be sufficient to simply add a light button or make the existing button a dual function that allows it to turn the light on and off. Plus it's a great device and having four BBQ probes is a game changer. If they could make this device for those unexpected rainy days with just a few upgrades and water resistance, then it would definitely be a wireless thermometer. As of now this is a good buy and you will not be disappointed! FYI: All of my reviews buy me and only me. I am not receiving the product to test and will never receive it. I want people to get what they're really meant for. I praise a product where it should be, but I will show no mercy for a product that falls far short of what it claims to be. Always be wary when products have many reviews and the vast majority of them are positive.
