I've never tried to fix anything myself but to save money I tried. It was easy. It took about 15 minutes. The printed instructions were fine and the YouTube video was helpful too, but written instructions would have sufficed. The old one was harder to take off than the new one, but it fit perfectly, just like the original. Very happy
