Let me start by saying that this bed skirt was everything I wanted. The color was perfect, hangs well and was delivered quickly. Worth the price. Now for the not-so-perfect: I have a four-poster bed with rods at the top for hanging curtains. This is an antique. So the bed surround had to be modified. I untied the elastic bands at the head end of the bed surround and fastened them by hand. I cut it open, threaded the long edge through the rubber loop and knotted it. Worked great. Split corners wouldn't hurt either. But if you don't have a canopy or just a bed frame, this is a lovely, inexpensive bed skirt that's easy to slip on.
