Works great but terrible instructions. I put this on a 1999 Honda Accord LX. It's a bit misleading to think there was a T connector as at first I couldn't find a 'spare' connector and assumed it was between the brake controller connector and this unit (because they have the same connector type. SO after 3 attempts to find the connector, since no one noticed that a part was missing, I dismantled all the trunk linings on the driver's side, so the replacement connector is not down by the niche where most of the cables are, but in the niche of the upper fender in the Driver's side trunk.That alone left me stumped for over an hour.Had I been 3ft I would have noticed sooner but who would have thought to look under the trunk frame.Once found, plug and play.However it was Cables a little short and I had to undo the trunk light zip ties to have enough slack to go well through the tire and you also need to enlarge the grommet plugs to get the large adapter through bring. We make two opposite square notches right on the outside edge of the bushing ring. Then score the sleeve with p, pierce the wire. Close with tape.
