I bought this Lamphus Sound Alert to supplement the car horn on my motorhome in cases where a loud attention getting warning signal is required. While the product quality appears to be quite good, the sound quality and loudness is far from adequate. However, after spending hours completing a "professional” installation of this product I am not going to tear it all out again and return it. Very nice unit small and compact. The speaker is solid and pretty heavy. Pretty easy install. I attached the small amp box to the my battery tray. They give you a switch and everything needed for he install but the wire lugs or connectors. I had an issue with my original unit, I emailed their customer support and received a response the next day from Tim. He sent me a replacement unit that day.

I had my lamphus alert for 2 weeks now I wanted to use it a while before I wrote a review, I absolutely love it. Easy installation, great price, can be heard quite far away, have a lot of fun with it. Plan on buying another one.

It is good for the price but louder options are more expensive and harder to fit under the hood of my Lexus. Replacement Parts.

If this is 120-130dB, I will kiss your a**! It is NOT and does not come close to any "air horn” I’ve ever heard. I had this installed by the same person who installs on all emergency vehicles in my county… The factory installed horn on my vehicle is louder than this! Total dissatisfaction! DO NOT BUY!

I live in a West Coast city, and let's face it, no one hears a car horn anymore. . . So, now we have crated an "arms race" of sorts by using this horn instead. I installed this on my 02 Chevy Silverado. It was concerning that it didn't work out of the box but 1 phone call to customer support fixed the issue and the issue wason my end. Great company that stands behind their product. I would buy again.

I like the low tone sound of this horn as opposed to other brands. I purchased this product to replace a "real" air horn which was too loud. It seems to be adequately loud to do it's job effectively. This thin model speaker is a perfect fit on my Escape, projects the sound forward with no obstruction.

I put this on my motorcycle sidecar (Ural). It was easy to install, very loud, and very robust. I added another switch button for the handle bars because my horn switch was negative ran.To run with your cars horn button the switch must be positive power activated.

Overall not a bad product. Definitely not a whelen or galls horn tone or volume , speaker only tested at 102 db but for the price it's not a bad start

Mounted this in my harleys fairing. Much louder and gets more attention then a stick horn can dream of. Absolutely love it.
