I bought this Lamphus Sound Alert to supplement the car horn on my motorhome in cases where a loud attention getting warning signal is required. While the product quality appears to be quite good, the sound quality and loudness is far from adequate. However, after spending hours completing a "professional” installation of this product I am not going to tear it all out again and return it. On the other hand if you buy this for the purpose of installing it on your kid’s electric toy car I am sure he will be delighted as he races around in your driveway with his buddies.The sound produced by this devise resembles a low frequency warble, barely audible twenty feet away if you are in another vehicle, as a matter of fact the regular horn is more noticeable. If despite my warning you would still like to buy this horn, I strongly recommend that you test it prior to installing it, in order that you can return it once you reach the same conclusion I did, something I failed to do.
