Review on 12×18 Inch Cloth Count Stitch Fabric by Amy Mcleod

The fabric is very stiff - almost like trying to sew onto cardboard. I have been embroidering for over 40 years and have never seen Aida fabrics as stiff as this product from China. It is much easier to embroider on plastic canvas or perforated paper than on this very stiff fabric. Pulling the needle through the fabric creates a strong resistance. And yes, I use the same needle size and amount of fabric as I do for the 50+ pieces of jewelry I've embroidered in the last 14 months. The color was exactly what I wanted, but the fabric is very difficult to work with. Luckily I still have five pieces to sew, then I'll get rid of this fabric. Not having time, I ordered online instead of visiting the nearest brick and mortar cross stitch shop which is an hour away.
