Review on 12 Inch BMX Freestyle Kids Bike with 2 Hand Brakes, Training Wheels, and RoyalBaby Design - Perfect Child Bicycle by Grant Galloway

Expensive but cute bike

Pros - the bike was not damaged. Easy to assemble. Perfect size for my 2 year old. They provide the necessary tools. He loves the bell (rolls his eyes, laughs) and the bike. Cons: FULL PRICE! got the same bike for about $80 (didn't get it because it was out of stock). This one costs over $200 and there is nothing special about it. Instructions are nonsense. I struggled to fit the left pedal and started to think they sent me 2 right pedals. I only had to twist the left side to tighten it instead of the usual "tight right". My main problem is the brakes or the pedals, I have to say. The pedals aren't your brakes (just the handbrakes), so the pedals can be pushed backwards instead, and of course the bike won't move. Had to brake with the pedals. My son (first bike) pedals backwards all day and doesn't move. Tires seem a bit flat. The bike is too heavy for a child. It matters if he falls on them after a bad turn etc. To sum up, the bike is overpriced. It's easy to assemble. My son loves this. We just need a little more work to break. Also, make sure to tighten everything as tightly as possible! My son's seat started spinning just from sitting in it so I could adjust it for size. I just had to go back and take a serious hit, but everything is stable now. Will be updated if problems arise.
