Missing items but looks great.

I was so excited when I received the notification that the bike had been shipped and would be arriving for my son's birthday! To our disappointment, when we assembled it that evening, we found that the box was resealed and a few items were missing. No pedals, footpegs etc. We've waited so long for our son to come downstairs to see his new bike on his birthday morning and now we're just sad. Hopefully we'll get a new bike as soon as possible!

Pros
  • One Year Trial
Cons
  • Slightly Crumpled

Just "great " - Kids Bikes

Great bike for my son's first bike. There were no instructions and I still don't know how to attach some accessories, but other than that it was easy enough to put together. I really appreciate snap pedals! The seat is very small. So if you're buying it for an older kid, I'd buy him a new seat while you do it. My son hasn't used it much but has coasted without training wheels while balancing, but so far hasn't complained about the bike.

Pros
  • Great overall specs

No Rear Brake - Kids Bikes and Accessories

It would probably be nice if it had a rear brake. I bought it "like new" and am pretty sure it was returned because it didn't have a rear brake...no idea why it wasn't thrown in the bin and sold with an accurate description. Instead I paid almost a hundred dollars and ended up having to box it up and send it back, which, you know, didn't go well after my kid saw it. How about quality control and trying to sell items with missing parts at almost full price? What a waste of time.

  • Confident

Great first pedal bike for a toddler!

First, it was the only bike I could find without foot brakes and 2 handbrakes that cost less than $150. That being said, my son loves "his first pedal bike without training wheels" even though it's a lot heavier than his Strider balance bike, which we moved from. He loved having a water bottle holder (very handy) and a bell. It took him about 30 minutes to learn how to balance and pedal on the new bike. Thicker tires than regular tires also helped. Now he's coming for a long time!

That's 30 pounds! After 2 cheap bikes stopped by Guardian Bike

THIS THING £30! My daughter is 30 pounds, she can push this thing up any hill. Overall, this is a solid bike, but maybe overkill. Since this was her first bike, it became clear that it wasn't going to work because it was too heavy. I sent it back and bought a Nice branded bike (specifically for China) with mistranslated decals and the thing broke on the 35th day of production outside the US. Refund policy. So I finally paid a little more for the Guardian bike. Quality matters. The Guardian bike

Too heavy for a young rider

I was surprised by the number of 5 star reviews on this bike. This bike is too heavy for a young rider. The 14 inch bike was 75% of my average 4 year old's weight and I was concerned that if this bike lands on him while he's learning to ride he might get hurt. The bike also means that he found it difficult to start the bike without assistance. Weight aside, this is a sturdy and beautiful bike, but for just a bit more we can buy a quality aluminum frame. Bike at our local bike shop.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Older model

Attractive bikes and easy handling for four year olds

We are very happy with these bikes for our four year old twins. They had never used training wheels before, but switching from smaller bikes was an instant hit - the kids took to it straight away. We chose this particular model because the bikes don't look childish and they come in two colors (red and blue) that both boys like. The assembly was easy and uncomplicated. Now our whole family enjoys hiking together on bikes or scooters. While researching bikes for kids this age, I've seen many…

Not worth the price, bad brakes, less than expected.

I thought it was a good quality bike as it was expensive and other reviews were good but I'm disappointed. First, the price is now $20 less than 2 months ago. ($165 then, $145 now). So I feel cheated. I was willing to pay upwards of $80-$100 for 18-inch wheels from Walmart because I needed a quality bike that would last a while. Unfortunately this is not what I have. The brakes are not very good. My son will hit the brakes very hard and even then they don't brake well/quickly enough. Especially

Expensive but cute bike

Pros - the bike was not damaged. Easy to assemble. Perfect size for my 2 year old. They provide the necessary tools. He loves the bell (rolls his eyes, laughs) and the bike. Cons: FULL PRICE! got the same bike for about $80 (didn't get it because it was out of stock). This one costs over $200 and there is nothing special about it. Instructions are nonsense. I struggled to fit the left pedal and started to think they sent me 2 right pedals. I only had to twist the left side to tighten it instead

  • I have no bad feelings, everything is fine
