Straight to the point, this HDMI splitter rejects HDCP, meaning you can capture things like PS3 and even cables over HDMI. Of course, unlike some other splitters, you can also have a dual viewing experience (1 channel for 2 screens). Definitely worth buying, my only issue is the clutter factor. You need 3 HDMI cables and the splitter has a wired power adapter and when you use something like Elgato to record stuff it confuses the cable even more. If you're buying this, just consider the chaos it creates and the fact that the splitter must be powered from a wall outlet.
