In my garden I limit myself to real balls on 9, 10, 11 and 12 irons. (9, resin, clay, 60). I use these styrofoam balls for all my other irons, woods and drivers. What I like is that I can turn on full power and they will stay in the yard and in the snow. That's why I like lighter colors. What I also like is that even after my twenties I haven't been able to deform or split it. What I don't like is the lack of the nice shot you get with a real golf ball. But I can't live with that because the courses are closed.
