100% useless product for accessories

Sorry rubbish. I've checked twice, thrice, that many times to make sure I've set it right, but the drift on this "new" stick is way, way worse than my other one which is a few years old. It keeps hard 100% left and doesn't respond to movement at all. I've tried calibrating it to no avail. My original drift stick that I was looking to replace is annoying but eventually works. The thing is completely unusable, I can't even tear myself away from scrolling apps on the home screen with it. Now I have to take it all apart again and put my less crappy stick back in. I can't even get my money back or send a replacement because they require you to send it back and I can't. for transportation reasons. I've added a video to show what I mean, sorry the fan is noisy. Update: I took the piece apart hoping it was a little dirty and once clean it should be fine. First, the one part that needed to be perfectly clean for the stick to work properly was TOTALLY dirty. It had the worst greenish mud all over the corner and partially in the middle. I've never seen anything like this and I don't know how it got past any of the inspections or tests they have to do before they ship these parts that they advertise as new. In any case, I felt some relief because I was sure that now that I can clean it, it should work fine. nope I cleaned everything carefully, checked everything and reassembled everything. I flipped the switch, glad to finally be able to play, but no, the drift was just as bad, only now it was drifting down instead of to the left. I made sure this thing was completely intact and still floating. So I know it's just irreparable junk. Thanks for nothing I guess
