I first got acquainted with the overlock, before that I only sewed on a machine, figured it out. For convenience, I pasted inscriptions to all regulators on paper tape. With the factory settings, I immediately processed a piece of a two-thread footer with elastane - the line came out decent without gaps, despite the fact that the needles are not super stretch, but standard. The inscriptions on the regulators on the right are not very convenient, I liked the schematic drawings, as on later models, more. So I had to sign everything for myself.
