I liked the idea of this water bottle. I researched dozens of different styles and brands to find the best fit for my trip. I chose the Hydaway because it fell apart and was best suited for empty trips. I doubted the price, but won the convenience of folding and spaciousness. Hydaway worked great on my trip. I liked that it holds 25 oz. (by far the largest capacity for small collapsible bottles) and was durable. It hasn't leaked and I haven't had any issues with lost seals or an empty bottle breaking. I also liked that I could fold it in half with water. Now for the quality. I have only used this bottle for a 12 day trip and the silicone outer ring has already cracked at the widest ring. I'm afraid to continue using this water bottle because I feel like it might rupture completely at any moment. I only popped a bottle five times during the trip and this is the result? Yes. Too expensive for only 2 weeks use. It's a shame because this theme is pretty smart and easy to use.
