Review on AdirPro Automatic Speed Optical Transit by Souly Buddy

Bought this to use on some jobs where we don't get cell signal, to use our surveying gear or when I needed to shoot some quick heights. It's easy to set up and use. I like that you can lock it horizontally so you don't hit it and have to find the rod again, as well as lock the scope vertically and use the adjustment screw to fine-tune the angle. The horizontal bezel is also set so you can read readings to the minute. I also like that the dipstick is aluminum as all the plastic sticks we have in the office are broken at the bottom. The only thing I don't like is that the bevel moves with horizontal corners and divides into four parts. Quadrants (0-90), I would prefer the bevel to be fixed at 0-360. I also don't like that the tab marking the vertical zero also moves because I'm always afraid that when adjusting the scope I'll bump into it and not remove all the angles. My vertical adjustment screw is also slightly bent when you've locked your scope, so you'll need to bring it in closer before you lock it. correct, but apart from that and a bent adjustment screw I had no problems with it. It's reasonably priced compared to other similar products I've looked at, and if you can use GPS survey equipment or just need to take a few quick surveys or points, this will get you close enough.
