As everyone says the glue on these bumpers doesn't last long. However, as I installed them, they have been on my toilet for 1 year without moving and they have worked great. It's all about the preliminary work and the way they are installed. The following approach can be used on all rubber/plastic bumpers, not just these. Installation steps: 1. Use sandpaper to sand the side of the bumper which is attached to the toilet seat.2. Use sandpaper to sand the underside of the toilet seat where the bumper will attach.3. If you skipped the first 2 steps, go back! This is the most important part to securely attach the bumper to the seat. I need to know, I tried gluing without loops and they fell off after a few days. At this point, both areas should feel rough. Consider using 60-80.4 grit sandpaper. I used epoxy but a similar strong glue will work to glue the bumper to the seat you sanded. Use tape to fix the bumper after sticking it.5. Wait a day if you can for the glue to set and really dry. Enjoy your bumpers trouble free for the life of the toilet (I've had them for a year and still haven't come loose or shown any signs of delamination).
