ideal for multiple applications. I used this to simply send a VGA Cat5 signal to a remote monitor. I have also used it as a remote KVM. You connect the keyboard, mouse and VGA monitor and can control your computer as if you were sitting in front of it. Another great feature is AB switching. So you can have a keyboard and mouse monitor both local and remote on the PC, and it will automatically switch control back and forth depending on who is using it. A small bug I noticed is that you usually have to press any key on the keyboard for it to toggle before you can use the mouse.
