If you've thought even a little "if it's worth it, it's worth overdoing" then this product is worth it. Lights are great and really add a lot to your interior IF you take the time to do it carefully. The wires are tricky to work with and the tapes are awful, but once installed they really look amazing. And the coloring is really good too. However, be sure to rely on your own adhesive strips. They are also easy to turn on and off as there is a power switch on the plug. A remote control is not required. The cables are long enough to reach from my center console. on the underside of my driver and passenger seats and on the underside of my dashboard. I think they look best here, but you could probably point them towards your roof if you wish. Although I don't know how you're going to handle wires at all. I chose the socket in the center console because I like the blue lights and the red button doesn't fit, but it's definitely not needed at all. They also come out of my dash socket easily.
