My customer was willing to pay $$$$ to a professional upholstery shop just to have 4 stitches sewn to make new platform pillow/headboard covers. Since I can fly an airplane, assemble computers, and write software, I figured we could both figure out how to use a "less than $25 device" designed for children and adult beginners to sew. SUCCESS! This little machine comes pre-filled and pre-threaded with white thread in the top and bottom spools, making it difficult to line up the fabric and press ONE button to turn it on. In the middle of our project we had to rethread the upper thread. The great photos in the included instructions made it so easy to that we didn't even have to watch the online video. In addition to the pre-installed white threads, the accessory bag also contains 2 additional filled spools (one with white thread, one with black thread) as well as a few extra empty spools and a spare needle. The foot pedal changed speed as expected
