The Janome 3160 PG sewing machine will make you feel confident not only for beginners, but also for experienced craftswomen. From simple outfits to complex, light or heavy fabrics. The quilting kit in the kit beckons to master this type of needlework. The price-quality-accessories ratio is just great! We bought a bag with pockets, it contained all the equipment and a machine with a table, we bought additional paws for a hem, a foot for a hidden zipper, needles for different fabrics. It turned…

Pros
  • Computer stuffing, hard plastic case, needle threader, automatic reverse bartack, number of decorative stitches 59, set of needles, buttonhole stabilizer plate, set of bobbins in a box of 25pcs, table and quilting set, including top feed, pedal included, you can work with and without it, a large number of paws, detailed documentation
Cons
  • Very fragile bobbin box

What you need, a cool purchase, I advise you.

Some pros: There are many advantages. Starting from its configuration, it sews thick fabrics well. Jeans folded in 6 - 8 layers stitched amazingly, like clockwork. Curly stitches are good for embroidery and it is interesting to overcast with them. Marlevka sews well too. Its cons: I bought a machine to sew underwear. Something didn't work. It tightens the seam awful. But thick and not capricious fabrics sew very well. Maybe we should get to know her better :)

Very pleased with this purchase, will recommend it to everyone!

Its pros: Quiet smooth running, 10 paws, side table, a lot of functions Cons below: I haven’t gotten used to using the needle threader yet, but it’s a matter of time when you pull the lever, the hook doesn’t immediately fall into the eye of the needle

Terrible attitude towards the customer. So we ordered a car with an increased price, a person waited 4 days to receive a package for his birthday! They canceled the order on the day they received it so they could sell it for $5,000 more. Do not buy a car, waste your time, send money, they will cancel the order and you will be left without a car, and now you have to wait for such an amount back and don’t buy a new one ! If they had said that the price had gone up, we would rather have paid extra

Pros
  • No
Cons
  • Terrible customer relationship

I did not regret the purchase, everything is fine.

In general, I would call this machine capricious. You can work on it, and very successfully, BUT you constantly need to reconfigure for each product. You have to spend a lot of time just on this. What I think. It is suitable for those who sew from simple dense, even fabrics. As already mentioned above about underwear - it is almost impossible to sew it on this machine. Such things.

Pros
  • Comfortable pedal, responsive. Automatic hinges, convenient. The position of the needle changes. Horizontal hook, you can see the bobbin. In general, the control of the buttons is convenient in itself. Beautiful.
Cons
  • 1. For almost a year I have not figured out whether it is possible to raise the foot higher in order to put a thick layer of fabrics under it. 2. On capricious materials, it requires thorough tuning, and premium threads. For example, when sewing a cooler or mesh, available and popular threads (such as dortak) refuse to sew normally, constantly skipping. Just put Madeira or Guterman - it sews, as if there were no problems. 3. It was rather exclusively for me - one of the screws that screwed the plate under the foot was tightened so that while I was trying to unwind it (this is necessary to adjust the tension of the lower thread, or cleaning) tore the entire hat.

Great machine

I absolutely loved my new Janome sewing machine. It seems like the designers have thought of everything a quilter could wish for. I love that it comes with an extension table and an exactly 1/4" sewing foot. She sews very smoothly. Easy to learn. the clearance between the sewing plate and the bottom of the machine body is a bit small. I can barely keep up hand in to change the sewing foot, a few centimeters more would be desirable.

Pros
  • nice thing
Cons
  • I don't remember but there was something

The best car! So glad I bought one!

All machine parts are online so I'll skip them but highly recommend watching the YouTube video. I upgraded from a $99 machine I had for 15 years. Sewing on the new machine was like going from a skateboard to the USS Enterprise. Here are a few highlights. He threads the needle for you! He rips the thread for you! These two steps will save you so much time! It has speed control and a great feed system so you can almost let go of the fabric as you sew. The seams are perfect and even. You can…

Pros
  • Sturdy finish
Cons
  • Damaged
