This product is great. about 30 minutes. If this. I was very excited to try these as my one eye is a single eyelid and the other is a double eyelid (I'm Asian so one eyelid is common). I've been shy since I was little and always, even though I had to have cosmetic surgery if I wanted to fix it, I stumbled across eye tape. I looked at the reviews to see what I thought a quality product at an affordable price would offer. I chose this product and dared it. I checked the number of things suggested and the ratings/reviews. When I tried this I thought maybe I just don't know how to put them on properly, used about 3 until I got the look I wanted. I've experimented with different thicknesses of product, one strip per eye was enough for me, but everyone has a different eye shape and desired look, so whether you need more or not is up to you. One strip was too wide for my eye so I cut one in half to see if it would work better so the excess tape wouldn't show on my eyelid. It worked fine for a while, but after about 30 minutes I started noticing my eyelid was drooping again. At the time my eye had no makeup or primer on it and was clean. I made sure to use a cleanser before applying and let it air dry before trying it out. My fingers were clean and applied with an applicator. The only reason I think this item won't last longer is because I have an oily skin type and it's possible that the oil on my eyelid has loosened the seal of the tape. If not, then this product is very poor in terms of durability. It gets the job done and the price is for the number of parts you get (depending on how many you use). But if you're like me then it's a big disappointment when you put them on. When you are done with your makeup, the tape hardly works to turn your eyelids into a crease, a very noticeable and waste of time. Now you have to decide whether you want to just take it off and re-color your eyes or go with whoever sees that shiny streak on your eye. Note *** The applicator has been manufactured so that its seam is exactly where you push the tape back into your eye. so, as you can imagine, it's quite painful.
