Sensitive ribbon cable? Folded in half just for you.
I don't know why whoever packaged the cable folded it in half with a sharp crease when it fit in the bag it came in. I have no idea if it works or not. Opening a Surface tablet to turn it off when it's not working is too time-consuming and potentially expensive. I sent it back immediately. You can't bend the band in the tablet, why send it folded and crumpled?
