If I had felt generous I might have given these walkie talkies 2 stars despite their many flaws. You can still have a radio a long enough distance but it's a really bad walkie for the price so I'm sticking with 1 star. I DO NOT LIKE IT. Perhaps the biggest downside to these walkie-talkies is false advertising. It's listed as 22 channel radio, which is absurd. This is just false advertising as the radio is a single channel radio with no choice. The only reason I can say it's 22 channels is to make sure that item shows up in search listings. The tuner button on top of the radio is fake. The arrow keys, microphone button and flashlight button on the front are also fake. - While the range is good, the sound quality isn't great, voices sound distorted/digital. Super cheap quality with huge empty plastic case. it could be made at least 2 times smaller. No open channel audio, meaning when two people try to talk to each other, meaning you'll lose a lot of conversations if two parties are unknowingly broadcasting at the same time. FINAL THOUGHTS Ultimately, I wouldn't even recommend this set for kids unless you're looking for simplicity as it's cheaply made, has lots of fake buttons and false advertising, and doesn't sound that great.
