Makes babies sweat for baby bedding

I bought this pillow for my 4 month old baby because I sleep and he spits up a lot. The lining is waterproof but my baby sweats like crazy, I sweat too lying next to him. I don't think this will work, I can't let my baby toss and turn all night because he's hot.
