I purchased these servos for a quadruped robot project. Despite not providing excessive voltage or current, some servos have stopped working. However, the customer service was excellent, following up with me until I was completely satisfied. I'm sure that I was an unlucky case, which is unfortunate, but you cannot go wrong with this seller. The servos provide sufficient torque, and the customer service is better than ebay itself.

I bought these servos to install in a Large RC plane. I thought at first that they were an excellent choice because of pricing and quality. Until I started installing them. Out of 10 servos I found 3 that wouldn't work and a 4th that has gear train issues. I guess you get what you pay for.

One of the 10 servos was DOA. The ones that are working seem great though, especially for the price. Pretty quick, plenty of torque, solid build. I'd just recommend testing each servo before installing.

I bought 20 of these for a Hexapod robot build that needed 18 of them. At around $4.50 each this was an enormous cost saving over other servos and made the Hexapod build possible. I've run these continuously at 6 volts and have them moving as fast as possible and they do their job outstandingly for this kind of project. This isn't the first time that I have purchased MG996R motors. I had originally bought these motors for my son for Christmas because he is building a robotic arm from parts he 3d printed. The packaging was a little rough but there appears to be no damage to anything inside. These are great motors for the price and I love that this company gives the option of buying 10 motors at once since last time he used 6 to build the hand and forearm. Very good servos comparable to much higher priced name brand. About 160 in/oz torque at 6v is more than enough for my aircraft, nice long lead but has the less desirable tin contacts. I've tested all 10 under 70 oz/in load and they all work well with good centering and holding plus the output shaft fits Futaba arms.Kind of funny in the description, up above the dimensions are correct, farther down it says they are micro servos.

Purchased a little over a year ago. Never needed until a couple days ago. Installed in a new airplane with new receiver, etc. They will NOT hold center. You set the trim to get the surface where it belongs and after a few minutes use, the trim is off. Reset trim and a few minutes later it is off again. This was not an isolated issue as it happened to ALL of them.

I had two of the servos that did not work at all. Upon removing the covers found that the terminals for the motors were not soldered to the circuit board.

Work well for robotic arm and hand that I'm building. There is a little variance on the limits but they work very well for my project. I needed to modify one for 180 degree rotation for the wrist which was easy enough.
