Review on 🚧 Kidco G1200 47.5 Inch Extra Tall and Wide Auto Close Child and Pet Pressure Mount Gate by Amber Dixon

I was worried when I read the bad reviews on here but I bought 2 of these caps anyway and I'm glad I did. They were easy to install, easy to open for adults, and kept toddlers (even my pushy one) from opening them, and they have the nice feature of staying open when the toddler isn't around. The auto-close works very well and is not very loud, if not particularly quiet. They are very flexible in the size of the doorway - the modular design of the additional vertical bars is well thought out. I've been using mine for a few months now with no problems. My only problems are minor. The plastic button on the hinge (used to hold the gate open) will pop out from time to time as the gate is closed from the "knife" to the open position. We've learned to put our hand on it when closing the gate, but it seems that shouldn't be happening. Also, the gate must be fully open to press the Caps Lock button; and it's not obvious when you've successfully pressed the "stay open" button until you release it. Regardless, I would definitely buy it again if I needed another and haven't found one that performs better yet.
