Unfortunately the camera didn't work. I followed the instructions in the manual that came with it, but I couldn't even get the camera to show a picture for more than 5 seconds every few hours. Switched to another computer. No change, exactly the same problem. I contacted support and they responded fairly quickly (just under 2 days). They instructed me to download updated drivers/firmware. I did that, but it didn't affect performance in any way. Still no image in recommended software on 2 computers. In the 5 second window I saw the picture looked great and the remote looks like it might come in handy, but those things are totally irrelevant if the thing isn't working. Just save the money for a real camera until bug fixes or basic bug fixes.
