Review on 🔧 Upgraded Beck Arnley 201-1788 Backup Lamp Switch for Enhanced Performance by Tony Conlon

Purchased for Toyota Matrix XR 2005 2WD/Manual. Confirmed the old switch was defective by closing the circuit with a paper clip. I installed this part and the reverse lights did not come on. I pulled the switch, connected the wiring harness and tried the switch again but there was no light. I ended up going to Advance Auto Parts, literally paid twice as much, installed this switch, and now the reverse lights work. The Beck Arnley part numbers match the vehicle and it is the exact same part that AutoZone sells. However, the one I received was DOA.
