Has mounting features that are not mentioned and should not be. See photos!

I bought this relay kit because of the price and purpose. I have 5 devices in my golf cart where the standard switch does not hold power. My plan was to make a panel to set everything up to look as neat as possible. When they arrived I quickly noticed that each socket had a male and female plug. This means that I can connect as many of them as possible. This makes their installation easy and clean. It wasn't mentioned in the insert and should (probably sell more). Also, it looks sealed at the…

10A Relay Continuous 16 AWG not rated for more

CONS: All 16 AWG wires that shouldn't exceed 10A continuous. They also claim -40 to 125 degrees ambient temperature. IMPOSSIBLE The cable is rated for 105°C. I would only use it for 10 amps or less and up to 90C ambient to account for coil temp rise and current through contacts and 16 gauge wire. I tested this relay and at 25A for 15 minutes the relay and wires were over 75C in an ambient temperature of 22C in my basement. Pros: for something for $2 + for the relay, connector with wires. Very…

They work great, but make sure you sign up with .

They work great, but make sure you know exactly where the wires are before installing them. They don't have the typical color coding of other relays (the red wire on this relay isn't in the same place as the red wire on another brand). Just read the instructions and follow the diagram that came with this relay. Otherwise the function is fine. However, they are not weatherproof so do not use them in places where they may be exposed to moisture such as B. in the engine compartment of a car. I had

Fits 2007 Mercury Mariner with minor modifications

They fit and work great in my 2007 Mercury Mariner Hybrid even though it was 5 pins and the OEM relay was 4 pins. Each relay came with a removable metal bracket that I had to remove. You can see the metal bracket on the top of each of the 5 relays which I copied from the seller's stock photo. After removing the metal part, a plastic box remained, from which I pulled out a metal shovel. (See same photo.) This retaining "box" got in the way of a shoulder built into the fuse box next to each of…

So far so good: Spare parts

Addendum: Unfortunately, my rating had to be downgraded by a few stars. So far I've had two wires fail because the female spatula was crimped too tight and cut the copper. I was able to "spread" the end just enough to strip the wire and crimp it together with a solder bump to secure it in place. First Rating: The first impression is that the product is of good quality. The relays don't feel light or flimsy, the wire connectors provided are very nice and make the installation cleaner as I will…

Does the job - starter

5 pin relay nothing to say it does its job and clicks when I signal it. I have used two of these plus a wireless remote relay to install backup and downlights on my trailer. A pair of dpdt toggle switches allowed me to "disable" the reversing lights and manually activate these relays when not connected to the tow vehicle. I can then use the dry contacts on the wireless remote to power these relays and activate the remote key. My only concern is the 16 gauge high voltage wires, but the relay…

Look closely - Thin wires - Not recommended for loads over 15 amps

I would not recommend for loads over 15 amps. 16-gauge cabling simply cannot do more. I should have checked. At the same time, the quality turned out to be good, and the instillation went smoothly. I have used it to bypass the built in fuel pump relay in the fuse box on customers cars. These relays are sealed and the wiring was well done. I was working with a 20 amp circuit where the car's load side wiring was 14 gauge. It's a pity that I didn't take a closer look at the wire gauge before…

Exactly what I need and works perfectly.

This was just what I needed for 2 bikes, one of the bikes was too old to replace the fan relay and the cheapest I could find was $30 for the fan relay for it. Bicycle. They come with detachable plugs so you can use a plug and wire kit, or if you're lucky and the plug is already set up the same way, just plug and play. The instructions can be confusing if you don't know what you're doing, but I've found that the remote wire that tells the relay to turn on and off can be run on 12 volts or…
