I would not recommend for loads over 15 amps. 16-gauge cabling simply cannot do more. I should have checked. At the same time, the quality turned out to be good, and the instillation went smoothly. I have used it to bypass the built in fuel pump relay in the fuse box on customers cars. These relays are sealed and the wiring was well done. I was working with a 20 amp circuit where the car's load side wiring was 14 gauge. It's a pity that I didn't take a closer look at the wire gauge before buying it. I think 14 gauge wire would work for my 20 amp circuit, but if you're using 30 amps or more you'll need at least 12 gauge wire to make it safe. The wiring for this relay is now the weakest link in my chain. If I had to redo it I would buy another relay with larger wires. I will save them for a lower amperage project in the future. GG-arbez
