Just like kindergarten

I remember making colored clear paper lanterns as a kid, and this year I used the same technique to make Halloween ghost lanterns. So fun, safe and all reasonably priced. Simply mix the powder with water, stir, then use an old brush to apply strips of cloth or newspaper to the inflated balloon attached to the jar. Once the paste is dry, pop the balloon and cut out any shape you like.
