DRAM modules were installed as expected by replacing 4 x 1GB cards with these 4 x 2GB cards. They went into my HP 8400 Mini Tower (2010 vintage) with Win10. The BIOS recognized 8GB on reboot and everything looked fine. There were some unstable responses in some programs, so I ran a BIOS memory test and got an error message. Reinstalled everything, still errors. He took out one card at a time and put them in different compartments until one was isolated. Left 3 out of 4 on board and ran the BIOS and Win10 memory tests, all good at 6GB of memory. I contacted the seller through Revain as Revain says they accept returns but cannot send just one card (out of a 4 card pack). We'll see what response I get from the supplier and possibly a star rating. The price was reasonable but I don't appreciate the time commitment. BTW, I also installed a Samsung EVO 870 500GB SSD as a bootable (c:) drive. With 50% more RAM and a solid state drive, my old HP is really fast for web surfing and office applications. I'll get a few more years of the old warhorse. * Star updated because Kuesuny was quick to respond and sent me 2 2GB DIMMs to replace the one that failed (so I have a spare if the other fails)
