Quality Control Issue [UPDATED]

About an hour after installing with the brackets mounted to my wall, I proceeded to step 8 (see photo) where I inserted a set screw into the duct section. Inserted into the bracket, this section of duct holds your heavy, valuable speaker securely in place. That's how it should be. Only the factory forgot to drill holes for the adjusting screws. So here's my dilemma: thread those metric machine screws and hope for the best? Or should I cancel all my work Send them back to Revain and hope the following set of fasteners passed factory quality control in China? No, I'll box it up and send it back in search of another set of wall mounts. Is this worth buying? Are you lucky punk? UPDATE: I contacted Vogels customer service directly and they apologized for the manufacturing defect and supplied two new sections of duct with holes correctly cut. They also asked for a photo of the UPC code to help them track down their faulty shipment. So they get an 'A' from me for being quick, polite and delivering the right part quickly. This makes a big difference in the world of Revain sellers. For that I gave a few stars. Now we come to the installation. People who complained about the complexity of the installation were not wrong. It took me a lot of effort to install the first bracket. (The second was quicker, of course) A few things I learned: Plug the speaker wire into the channel BEFORE you attach it. It relieves many headaches. Also, make sure the bracket is EXACTLY vertical, as slight deflection will cause your speaker, especially if it's large and/or heavy, to tilt slightly to one side or the other. I mean get the bubble right in the middle! There is no margin of error. Another feature, if your speaker is between 7 3/8" and 8" deep, the set screw hole will be covered by the plastic strip located under the rear clip. At 7 3/8 inches deep, the waves were right over the sill, and I breathed a sigh of relief to find they only (barely) matched. Despite the rather tedious installation, the fittings are well made, the brackets work properly and they look nice. Also remember to mount the bracket EXACTLY vertically as this will cause your speaker to tilt slightly, especially if it is large and/or heavy and tilted slightly to one side or the other. Another feature, if your speaker is between 7 3/8" and 8" deep, the set screw hole will be covered by the plastic strip located under the rear clip. At 7 3/8 inches deep the waves were just over the sill, and I breathed a sigh of relief when I realized that they only (barely) fit. Despite a rather tedious installation, the hardware is well made, the mounts work well and they look good.
