I got this to improve the look of the wheel arches and fenders on my black Honda Accord. The color matches my car and looks clean. I would say it's important to make sure you thoroughly remove all dirt and loose debris from the immediate area. Also, it helps to use a hair dryer or hair dryer to loosen the sticky 3M glue and make the rubber more pliable to shape it at the corners of the fender. Overall I like it and plan on getting another set for my rear wheel arches.
