I agree with some posters on first impressions. The first cable broke immediately. I installed the second cable poorly as there were no instructions included. I just replaced that wire, figured out the secret, and the cheese slices easily and evenly. Almost fun to use. It will not rest in the fully closed (down) position due to cable tension. I really don't know if it should be. Since I didn't want to pay big money, I can still solve problems. I ordered another set of cables. When I start going through them, my stars will fall.
