First, they fit snugly on a pegboard with a 1/4 inch hole. The smaller ones, which are often advertised as 1/4" or 1/8", have too much play in my opinion as they don't exactly fit the 1/4" perforated plate with hole. Durability is with them no problem.The perforated plate will fail sooner than this hook accessory.If you hang something with too much weight it will pull against the pressed board and eventually fail in the holes or where you attached it to the studs.Properly and safely hung a metal pegboard should look much better The range is versatile: 3 J hooks in different sizes, 2 L hooks, 3 types of strip hangers including double, round holders for things like screwdrivers, custom pliers holders, etc., a wire ribbon shelf and 2 cup holder sized rings.There are plenty of tab covers to keep precision tools from scratching the cut ends of the strip hangers and plenty of locking clips to keep them in place to hold e. Railings when moving, removing items. I don't find retaining clips that necessary with these tight-fitting 1/4" pin accessories and really only use them for smaller accessories that don't fit exactly. In short, I feel like I got my money's worth. Cost.
