Very easy to use. Ideal for RC beginners and for the little ones. Our 3 year old grandson loves it and has no problem with it. The remote control is small enough for his small hands and each button has only one function to avoid tangling. The excavator itself is very nice and looks very solid. Moves very gently, moves back and forth, side to side, rotates, stretches arm up and down, and can shovel or push debris. Comes with an excavator, a remote control, a rechargeable excavator battery, a USB charging cable, and a mini screwdriver for removing and replacing the excavator battery for charging. The remote control is powered by double AA batteries. The only thing that doesn't bother me is that you have to remove the battery from the excavator every time you want to charge it. There's no charging port on the device, but that makes sense as you don't want sand, dirt or water getting into the charging port. All in all, this is a great RC toy for young kids, beginners and anyone who loves RC models. Our grandson loved running around, digging up the soil and driving around the house chasing dogs.
