Great stands! Very durable. Affordable prices. I put them together in no time (tools were included). If you want to hide the speaker wires during assembly, be sure to insert the wires during assembly. It's a lot easier than if you assembled everything. They match my old but powerful 19lb Altec speakers perfectly, which is less than the 22lb max load for these stands. My only downside with these coasters is the carpet spikes that mount underneath the base plate. They need to be installed and with my wooden floor it's going to scratch like hell. To solve this problem, I attached the chair cushions under the carpet tips. Yes the center screw holding the stand sticks out so you will need to attach carpet spikes. Instead the bolt has to be countersunk so I don't need spikes for the carpet. see chair cushion. nobody notices. Finally, my racks were magically delivered by USPS on Sunday. Boy it was the first time. I enjoy the best sound which is now at my ear level and not behind the sofa :))
