Review on πŸš€ Pace Setter 70-1250 Black Performance Exhaust Header by Darren Anderson

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Good rating in Exhaust & Emissions

Having had these manifolds on my car for a few months I feel I can write this review with confidence. I don't know who can read this, but those headlines are fitting for a 1987 car. But here's the review anyway. First of all I like them and at this (Revain) price I would buy them again if I had to. On the plus side, I was surprised that they are a lot heavier than I expected. Good heavy flanges and strong pipes. I don't think they will rot anytime soon. They come with good fittings and good gaskets, not cheap crap. I was also surprised that it fits BIG. even after announcing that it might need a change/modification etc. Pretty good stuff. On the other hand, there is built-in shielding from the screws on the flexible joint. I found a way to stop this by putting the two bolts in a clear plastic tube prior to installation and using rubber washers to isolate the bolt/nut from the flange. It's cheap and it works. There's also vibration, which is now transmitted to the body at 1700 rpm because the factory flex pipe has been replaced with a header ball flex system. It's not too annoying, although it DOES NOT LEAK! I don't know if they increased power or not, fuel consumption too. At higher speeds they sound a little better than the standard system, I would buy them again at this price, not more.
