Review on Essential Mylar Thermal Blankets: Buy in Bulk for Emergency Situations by Sam Doucette

I've never used one of these so I don't know if it's actually good for warmth but I bought a bunch for my kids and grandkids for their cars (they live in Maine) in case they break down in the winter. I also have them in my car for the same reason, but I have more because I had the opportunity to give them to homeless people and they were SO GRATEFUL. Good value for money.
