Variable quality

You never know what you might get when you order this product. Sometimes it's the soft, fluffy type. Sometimes it's longer, torn paper. My hamsters seem to like scraps of paper best because it's good for building complex tunnels and cave systems that won't collapse. They make lots of happy hamster squeaks when working with him. However, there is absolutely no way to tell which type you will receive when ordering. I always order white because it's easy to see which areas need scrubbing each day so I don't know about the consistency of other colors/types.
