This inverter is very quiet. We used it in our RV's bedroom for items that require 110 volts from the battery system. We accidentally left it on when we went to bed and we couldn't hear it at all. This would be a good choice for those who want a really quiet inverter. It's not a true sine wave inverter, but everything we've used with it worked, including the air pump, diffuser, computer, fan, etc. Most of our inverters have fans, which are very noisy if the noise level is high at night sinks. from daytime. They bother us when used with the items we need during the night. Not this inverter. With no fan and no power draw, it consumes much less power than a fan-powered inverter, which is great for dry camping and battery saving. I would highly recommend this inverter to RV owners, off grid individuals, campers and anyone with only 12v power to use with their 110v appliances. We don't give many 5-star ratings, but we were really impressed by this inverter.
